Technologies and Performance
01
Traction
DuronTech™ outsole delivers superior grip and durability, giving fencers confident traction on every surface — from slick wooden floors to professional piste — without sacrificing speed or agility.
02
Cushioning and Energy Feedback
Our signature NitroImpact™ Foam is designed just for fencing, which provides ultimate solution balancing cushioning and energy returns.
03
Breathability
Our engineered Air-mesh and Mono Mesh upper maximises airflow where fencers need it most. Combined with moisture-wicking linings and breathable design zones, it keeps your feet cool, dry, and comfortable — even through the most intense matches.
04
Stability
Our Anti-torsion plate and Stabilix™ system transfer hard impact into stable, grounded motion — reducing unwanted foot rotation and giving you greater control during explosive moves, lunges, and rapid directional changes.
05
Light Weight
OCTAV’s NitroImpact™ Foam is up to three times lighter than traditional EVA, helping conserve energy and keep fencers sharp longer on piste.
06
Durability
Our own DuronTech™ Non-Marking Rubber lasting longer on the piste.
Excel 2025 passed laboratory-test under extreme conditions.
